  • When are chapter dues (assessment) and per member (per capita) fees payable to the National Office?

  • What are the current chapter dues (assessment) and per member (per capita) fees?
Chapter dues (assessment): $1,500 per chapter each fiscal year
Per member (per capita): $50 per member

  • What happens if chapter dues (assessment) and per member (per capita) fees are delinquent?
Chapter is assessed a late fee. Current late fee is $150. Late fee subject to change by a vote of the National Board of Directors

  • What happens if chapter does not remit late fee?
Chapter may be classified as "not in good standing" status

  • Are there times after October 31 when per member fee must be paid?
Each time a new member joins the chapter, the chapter is required to remit the per member fee to the National Office.

  • What is the minimum number of members a chapter must maintain to be eligible for "good standing" status?
25 members at all times.

  • What happens if chapter does not maintain the minimum 25 members at all times?
Chapter may be classified as "not in good standing" status

  • Suppose Chapter does not have 25 members by October 31 but remits per member (per capita) fee for 25 members?
Chapter is classified as "not in good standing" status because it has not fulfilled theminimum membership criteria.

  • Is chapter required to submit membership roster with payment?
Membership roster is to be submitted at the start of each fiscal year (October 1). If membership roster does not accompany payment, a criteria for "good standing" status has not been met. Refer to Chapter Operations Checklist for instructions as to how membership roster is to be submitted.

  • Are there other times when the membership roster must be submitted?
• Each time a new member joins the chapter after October 31
• When the annual membership report is submitted April 1 each year
• Rosters are to be submitted to the National Office and to the national secretary

  • How are invoices transmitted to chapters?
Invoices are sent electronically at least 60 days prior to the payment due date of October 1 (usually around August 1)

  • Who receives the invoice for the chapter?
Invoices are sent to the attention of the chapter president of record. It is the responsibility of the president to distribute the invoice to the appropriate individual in the chapter to remit payment to the National Office

  • Suppose the chapter changes presidents before the invoice is sent?
Invoices are sent to the chapter president of record. It is the responsibility of the chapter to notify the National Office and national secretary of all chapter changes (officers, contact information including telephone numbers, email addresses, postal addresses, etc.). The National Office does not assume responsibility for sending correspondences to persons who are no longer authorized representatives of the chapter if changes have not been timely submitted.

  • Suppose chapter needs a duplicate invoice?
Duplicate invoices are available upon request at $25.00 per request, payable by October 31. Failure to pay for duplicate invoice(s) may result in the chapter being classified as "not in good standing" status

  • When does the National Office mail membership cards to chapter members?
• When chapter dues (assessment) have been paid; and,
• When per member (per capita) fees have been paid; and,
• When chapter has a minimum of 25 members shown on membership roster

  • If chapter has not received membership cards by December 31, then what?
• First, check with chapter president to confirm chapter has met its national financial
  obligations. If not,

• Members should have a "conversation" with chapter president. If so,
• Have chapter president contact National Office

  • How does a chapter know whether or not it is in " good standing" status?
National executive director sends letter to each chapter president confirming status.
This correspondence is usually sent after January 1 each year.
